Project status

Yadoda development started on November 2005 as a university project for the exam of Software Engeneering. Project kept us busy for four months, half of which has been spent while putting down and testing code. Project status is far from being stable and I think that a beta release it's going to take long to be out. First of all because a massive part of the code (the GUI) is planned to be rewritten from scratch.

Nevertheless, if you claim to be a Java geek, welcome: go along to the download page and check out the source code. Yadoda is released under the pure GPL license.

Portability

Yadoda's code is pure Java, and that makes porting to different architecture simple. As of now, the system has been successfully tested on Linux OS (mainly Gentoo) with both 32 bit and 64 bit JVM, and Windows OSs (XP and 2K). As no one of us owns a Mac system, we can't say anything regarding such OS support.
